The sensational Tokara is situated on the crest of the Helshoogte Pass. Spacious and spare, pale honey-stone, rich dark woods tinged with red and vast expanses of glass and steel. Tokara is perched peacefully on a hill, shaded by huge oaks and chestnut trees, with the sweeping views from the wide wooden deck spread uninterrupted from False Bay to the distant vistas of Table Mountain.

The new home of world-renowned chef Etienne Bonthuys, Tokara offers classics such as beef bordelaise, old favourites like consomme under a puff pastry dome, and signature mixes of meat and fruit. Sauces are soak-up delicious and the home-made ice cream a fitting finale.
